- Letter from Lucy Anson dated 5th June 1929 - "The Cricket Field is
used by the cricket Club and kept in good order. The children's field is in
daily use as is the playground (in Mill Street)"

am glad you rejected that draft agreement. I subsequently discovered there
was a long history of dispute about letting and sub-letting. I am going to
try and get the various parties together"

- Letters between J W Rayson (then living at Frilford Grange Cottage) and Adkins
about the sale of the rental of the small section of the playing field to
the Parish Council for a playground - 1972
- Letter dated 17th January 1974 from J W Rayson to Mr Jones at the ODT
- sending drawings of work to be done on the Institute car
park. He reports on a discussion with representatives of the Ex-Servicemen's
club where they agree to foot 50% of the cost of the work to provide the car
park provided that 4 places be reserved for them, that the lease on the hall
be extended to a 20 year period and the Anson trust to undertake not to do
away with the car park for a period of 20 years and if they did then they
would have to repay 50% of the costs provided by the Ex-Serviceman's
Association. (Note, the tender finally accepted for the work was for £2884
so a 50% repayment would amount to just £1442).
- Letter dated 21st March 1974 to J W Rayson - "on the understanding
that the Ex-Servicemen's club will meet 50% of expenditure incurred in the
work, and subject also to the conditions stipulated by Marcham
Ex-Servicemen's' Committee as outlined in the second paragraph of your
letter to me dated 17th January 1974" etc etc.
